Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplements are different?
Medicare Advantage is an alternative to Original Medicare parts A & B, and most plans include Part D Drug coverage, along with extra benefits. Low or no deductibles, and low co-pays can help save you money, too.
Medicare Supplements (or Medigap) is additional coverage purchased to fill the gaps of Original Medicare and don't include drug coverage. The Letter plans (F, G, N, etc) are the same no matter which Medicare Supplement company offers it, the only difference is the rate. These plans are great for providing a closer to comprehensive coverage at a consistent monthly cost.
